Thanksgiving Volunteering
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the NYC Coalition Against Hunger during the Thanksgiving holidays.
Here is a list of some available volunteer opportunities for Thanksgiving. Please feel free to peruse the list and contact the soup kitchen or food pantry that best fits your needs. We will update the list as more opportunities come available but the outpour of volunteers during the holidays is enormous. For that reason, I encourage you to use our "Hunger Maps" feature located on the homepage of our website to search for a pantry or kitchen in whichever area of the City you prefer, and contact the feeding agencies that are listed.
If you have any further questions, please contact Volunteer Coordinator, Britt Boyd at (212)825-0028 x207 or Volunteer Management Americorps*VISTA, Karl Bradley at (212)825-0028 x221.
Again, we really appreciate your support - especially this past year as we saw the economy worsen and the demand for emergency food increase by over 28%, committed volunteers are vital to our work in fighting for those who struggle to provide food for their families.
