President-Elect Obama and his transition team have a historic opportunity to end hunger and reduce poverty in the United States. NYCCAH has sent detailed memos to the transition team outlining several actions they could take to make good on Obama's campaign promises and progressively work towards ending hunger.

- End Child Hunger in the United States: How the Child Nutrition and WIC Reauthorization Bill Can Help the Obama Administration Meet Its Goal of Ending Child Hunger by 2015.
- Mobilize Service Groups: How the Obama Administration Can Better Utilize AmeriCorps Members and Non-Profit Groups in Ending Hunger and Fighting Poverty.
- How National Service Legislation Can Help Fight Hunger: Improve the Serve America Act (S. 3487).
