Share the Table
In Brooklyn alone, there are over 400 non-profit emergency food programs fighting to alleviate poverty and hunger in their neighborhoods.
Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and the New York City Coalition Against Hunger are proud to invite you to participate in the First Annual Share the Table Event!
When you eat at any of the restaurants below, your server will provide an envelope with your bill to mail your check or credit card donation to NYCCAH. You may also use the link below to donate online.
1) Meet the immediate food needs of low-income families in Brooklyn by supporting food purchases for the Brooklyn Alliance of Community Services, a network of emergency food programs, and
2) Expand and improve the programs and policies necessary to enable low-income Brooklyn families to achieve greater economic self-sufficiency and move beyond their need for emergency food pantries and soup kitchens.
